I hope you are managing to keep well, and your businesses are surviving and hopefully thriving. As we all know it has been an interesting year (understatement!) and for some totally devastating so it is difficult to write so that it will be applicable to all. However, I would urge you to try and shop local at this time and you can find a list of our members and ideas for Christmas presents HERE.
As well as Chair of the Fairford & Lechlade Business Club, a voluntary role, I look after the marketing for the Air Tattoo as my day job. The events industry, like many, has had a huge challenge this year as having lots of people together in one place had not been allowed. However, we evolved and thanks to so many customers carrying over their tickets to the 2021 event, our 50th Anniversary, and putting on the first Virtual Air Tattoo over what should have been the show weekend we have been able to keep our audience engaged.
As a Club we have ventured into the Virtual arena as well and have now held two meetings on Zoom. The second of which you can see HERE. We will also be holding our annual Awards Ceremony online in January and you can now enter the Awards HERE and vote for the Bob Warren Hospitality Award HERE.
