The purpose of the Skills Centre is to promote and preserve crafts and skills that are becoming endangered in the UK. It has been an exciting 12 months with the Skills Centre officially opened in May 2024 and continuing to grow. There is a full programme of craft and skills courses which are often sold out. Courses include wood carving, blacksmithing, weaving, stained glass, willow weaving and much more. In addition to courses, craftspeople and organisations are able to rent units for their businesses that align with the aims of the National Trust and the Skills Centre. The National Trust are always keen to show the progress to as many people as possible so please come along.
The evening will finish with drinks at The Radnor Arms.
