McGills Chartered Accountants is once again seeking applications from organisations for grants of up to £1,000 to fund initiatives promoting post-lockdown community activities in Malmesbury.

Clubs, groups, associations and schools are all invited to apply to the firm’s McGills Community Activity Fund, which has made sizeable donations to a range of causes in Cirencester and Malmesbury since it was launched in 2019.

The beneficiaries of the fund have including schools, community groups and sports clubs serving members of the community young and old.

Simon Nuttall, a Partner at McGills Chartered Accountants, said: “We are proud to be part of the community here in Malmesbury, which is why we established the McGills Community Activity Fund.

“Community activities are vitally important for people’s all-round well-being and can make a big difference to all aspects of people’s lives.

“The pandemic has shown us in various ways how important our communities are and has highlighted their role in promoting mental and physical health.”

He added: “We are encouraging all groups that promote community activities in any way to make an application today setting out how they would use £1,000 to bring together the local community in Malmesbury.”
