The Royal International Air Tattoo will return in 2022 from 15-17 July and planning is underway for a spectacular event! Friday will again be the preview day with a 4 hour flying display whilst Saturday and Sunday will both be full show days with over seven hours of thrilling flying displays each day. At the last show in 2019, 245 exciting aircraft from 39 air arms representing 25 nations from around the globe touched down at RAF Fairford for the Air Tattoo, making it the best place to view an incredible range of military fixed wing and rotary aircraft. The 2022 Air Tattoo will see celebrations for the United States Air Force’s 75th Anniversary and the operational theme for next year will be ‘Training the Next Generation Air Force’ and with many exciting aircraft from around the world on display. Many of the world’s Air Arms put the Royal International Air Tattoo at the top of their list when it comes to deciding where to demonstrate their aircraft’s capabilities and the professionalism of their aircrew.
