The Bridge is Lechlade’s only community magazine. The online and print editions keep our community informed about what is happening and what events are coming up. It has been doing this, albeit not continuously, for over 100 years. As you may know, some of the key volunteer members of the editorial committee, who produce and distribute the magazine every two months, are soon to step down after years of loyal service. We are thrilled to tell you that local resident Geoffrey Taylor has come forward to take over distribution but we are still looking for an Editor and IT Manager, responsible for magazine compilation and layout and the online edition. If we cannot recruit volunteers to take on these two vital roles, the next edition of The Bridge, December 2025/January 2026, will be the last one! Can you help or do you know of someone who may be able to?
