1/ All our boats are self-drive and have engines.
2/ You do not need experience – we do a handover til you get it, and the speed limit is 4mph.
3/ The boats have a licence – you don’t need one.
4/ We are now open every day til at least September. We do 1/2/4 hour hires and full-day hires as well as short breaks.
5/ The price is per boat, not per person.
6/ You can bring your dog.
7/ You can bring kids of any age – we offer life jackets.
8/ You can bring a cool box and a picnic.
9/ We have a disabled loo and parking, and grab rails to help get in and out of boats.
10/ If it is pouring all day when you have booked, we will contact you between 7- 9 am to try to reschedule.
11/ For cruisers, the lead passenger must be 21+
12/ For the open-powered boats the skipper needs to be 18+ with ID.
13/ We don’t do big groups, or hen or stag style events, without very special arrangements.
14/ We are not open on an evening/night – the first slots start at 8.45 am and the last slot of the day is 3.45/4 pm for 1 hour.
15/ Fishing season starts on the 15th June – you can’t fish before then. If over 12, you need an annual rod licence, but you do not need a day ticket to fish from your hire boat.
