New Appointment to Propel Hangloose Adventure to New Heights

Cotswold based adrenaline activity company, Hangloose Adventure has appointed former Air Tattoo marketing lead, and Chair of FLBC, Helen Webb, as Sales & Marketing Director. 

Until recently Helen headed up the Marketing, Ticket Sales and Customer Experience for the Royal International Air Tattoo at Fairford, successfully developing these areas and promoting the organisation as their spokesperson for the past 14 years.  

Her new role with Hangloose Adventure, is based near Cirencester, Gloucestershire, and designs, builds and manage adventure parks. These include England’s longest zip line at the Bluewater Shopping Centre in Kent and England’s fastest zip line over the Eden Project in Cornwall as well as other exhilarating activities such as giant swings, giant airbags, ariel trekking and a base jump!

Helen commented; “I’m joining Hangloose Adventure at a really exciting time, we opened England’s longest zip line a few months ago and take up has been fantastic. I’m looking forward to my first flight, leaving from a 15 metre tower on top of a 40 metre cliff and flying past chalk cliffs, lakes and nature areas. It’s conveniently located in the parkland next to the Bluewater Shopping Centre in Kent. 

“What else could you do your need for a great day out, a zipline and a bit of retail therapy! Said Helen “Well there is something; the largest outdoor skydiving machine which will be added in the summer and numerous other activities including Europe’s largest swing and Europe’s largest outdoor climbing wall. We also operate the giant zip line which runs over the Eden Project biomes in Cornwall as well as a number of other adrenaline fuelled activities.”

Commenting on Helen’s appointment, Hangloose Adventure’s managing director, Brian Phelps, said: “It’s great that Helen has joined us at this important time in our growth, bringing all her knowledge and experience of marketing outdoor activities and events from her previous role. It’s a bit of a coup having her join us and we think she will fly, literally!”

Helen is a huge advocate of living and working in Gloucestershire, having attended school in Stroud and then the University of Gloucestershire, where she has returned as a guest lecturer. She is also supports and mentor’s local businesses as Chair of the Fairford & Lechlade Business Club.  Helen is also part of an elite group of marketing experts as a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Marketing.
